welcome!

I started writing ÒYou Can Get There from HereÓ back in 1996, but set it aside, thinking the fragments would lead nowhere. Six years later I stumbled across it while flipping through pages in my songwriting journal, and right away I knew I had to finish it, which I did on July 29, 2002.

A friend of mine calls this Òthe shibboleth song.Ó I reckon there arenÕt that many songs with that word in them. Then again, thereÕs more than one biblical allusion in these lyrics.

This oneÕs on my first CD, released in late 2002. These days I usually end with the last chorus, rather than repeating the tail end of the third verse.
